Mission
The Central European Tectonic Groups is an open scientific association bringing together the geoscientists with the interest in geodynamic processes of the Earth crust in a broad measure. The main topics of the annual meetings are the problems of structural evolution of the orogenic belts, the basin evolution, relationship of magmatism and tectonics and many others, studied by the methods of structural geology, petrology, geochemistry, sedimentology and geophysics.

Stay tuned — all details will appear progressively in the Conference section of this website, and registered participants will also receive updates through CETEG newsletters.

Over time, as the hardware aged and technology moved on, the original CETEG website eventually succumbed to a serious server failure. Much of the content was lost or rendered inaccessible — an unfortunate but perhaps inevitable outcome. While it's certainly a setback, we're choosing to see it as a fresh opportunity to rebuild, reimagine, and modernize the site from the ground up. So here we are, starting anew. We kindly ask for your patience — some content may currently be missing, but we're working diligently to recover as much as we can from old backups.
