we are pleased to inform you that the CETEG 2026 Conference will take place at the Academia Congress Centre (Stará Lesná 176, 059 60 Tatranská Lomnica – GPS: 48°09‘08.05”N; 20°17’11.95”E).

Getting There
Most participants are expected to travel by car. The conference venue is easily accessible, with a parking area located directly next to the building entrance.
For those travelling by public transport, the town of Poprad is an important hub for international rail and bus connections. From Poprad, the venue can be reached by bus, train, or taxi:
- Trains and buses depart from the Poprad-Tatry Station (please refer to the transport planner for current schedules). The nearest train stop (1,7 km) to the venue is Stará Lesná, and the nearest bus stop (450 m) is Stará Lesná, rekreačný areál.
- Alternatively, taxi services (e.g. Bolt) are readily available.
Registration and Pre-conference field trip
Registration will be open at these times:
- On the 21st April (Tuesday), 17:00 – 20:00
- On the 22nd April (Wednesday), 7:30 – 8:00 and 17:00 – 20:00
- On the 23rd April (Thursday), 8:00 – 9:00
Departure of the buses for the Pre-conference field trip is at 8:00! Buses will be parked in front of the Academia Congress Center.
Field Trip Preparation
Participants joining the field trip are kindly asked to come well-prepared. We recommend bringing:
- hiking boots,
- warm clothing (the pre-conference field trip will take place between 700 and 1500 m a.s.l., and some localities are still covered with snow),
- a rain jacket.
The pre-conference field trip will start on Wednesday, 22 April at 08:00, with an expected return to Stará Lesná at approximately 18:00.
Presentations & Posters
- Oral presentations (16:9 format) are allocated 20 minutes in total, including 15 minutes for the presentation itself, followed by 5 minutes for discussion. Presenters are kindly asked to adhere strictly to the time limits to ensure a smooth running of the program.
- Keynote lectures are scheduled for 40 minutes, including time for discussion.
- Posters should be prepared in A0 or A1 format, in portrait orientation. Poster boards and mounting materials will be provided on-site. Authors are encouraged to be present at their posters during the designated poster session to facilitate discussion.
Accommodation & Payments
Participants staying at the conference venue will be charged individually by the hotel on site.
If you are arriving on Tuesday, April 21st, the restaurant at the Academia Congress Centre is open for dinner from 18:00 until 21:00.
